Be nice to mice

Make 2026 the year we all choose to be nice to mice

Did you know that supporting animals often means supporting better human science?

This February, we are asking people to take a moment and consider how they can help Be Nice to Mice.

Mice are the most used animal in scientific procedures, so we’re asking you to take a moment to consider their lives and how together we can build a kinder future, for animals and humans.

Our vision is simple: a world where no animal suffers for science.

Where non-animal research is the norm, not the exception.

You can support this future by joining in our Be Nice to Mice activities through February.

Be nice to mice and be in with a chance to win!

Our Be Nice to Mice raffle is now live, and you can enter until it closes on Friday 13th February. We have some amazing prizes!

You could win paintball for 10, a vegan chocolate hamper, a pamper set, and much, much more! Check out all our prizes and enter on our GalaBid page

Join us for a morning of celebration and fundraising!

You will hear from our CEO Celean Camp and our service team about all of the work donations help enable, and what exciting plans we have for the future.

We will also be joined by one of our fabulous Innovation Grant winners to give a whistle-stop tour of her project and its potential for non-animal, human-centred research approaches.

You can RSVP online or by emailing hello@replacinganimalresearch.org.uk

The Simplest Way to Commit to Change

One of the most powerful commitments you can make to accelerate non-animal research is to become a donor.

Your vital backing allows us to work at every level: funding breakthroughs, influencing policy, and actively training researchers currently using animals to successfully transition to superior, human-relevant methods.

Did you know, less than 1% of government biomedical funding goes to New Approach Methodologies? Charities like ours are vital to creating a future where no animal suffers for science.

Every act of generosity makes a profound difference. Your support, whatever the amount, is a direct investment that fuels the science, education, and advocacy work we champion.

Did you know: mice communicate using ultrasonic vocalisations, sounds too high-pitched for the human ear to hear!
