Run for Replacing Animal Research

Running for Replacing Animal Research

Running for a charity is a great way to challenge yourself and contribute to the causes you care about.

In Great Britain, last year alone, 2.54 million experiments used animals. Worldwide, it’s believed over 150 million animals are used in research each year. By choosing to run for Replacing Animal Research, you’ll be helping us continue our work to accelerate the shift toward animal-free research.

Every mile you run and every pound you raise helps support practical initiatives that enable researchers to move away from animal research and adopt modern, human-relevant methods.

We work with Run for Charity so you can find charity runs near you and below are some of our featured upcoming races.

‘I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to raise funds for Replacing Animal Research! Running The London Marathon was an amazing experience and the whole team, especially Brittany, were so supportive and excited in the months leading up to it. The atmosphere on the day was amazing and being able to raise awareness and money for the work that Replacing Animal Research are doing, with so many charities there funding and conducting cruel and unreliable animal experiments, was so important.’

Olivia Watts – 2026 London Marathon

“It was a privilege to run for Replacing Animal Research and support their cause. They were very supportive throughout from fundraising to race day!”

Adam Celiz – 2026 London Marathon
