The Issue

Animal research remains the ‘norm’ in medical research.

We’re here to challenge that and create a future where no animal suffers for science

Why our work matters

Rat Silhouette

2.54 million

scientific procedures were carried out using animals in 2025 in Great Britain.

Mouse Paw Silhouette

95%

of all procedures used mice, rats, birds, or fish

1.3%

1.3%

of all procedures used specially protected species (cats, dogs, horses, and non-human primates)

The Issue

Although animals have provided us with invaluable insight into human biology, it is without a doubt that the scientific world has needlessly sacrificed and caused suffering to animals. I love animals and I don’t think we should inflict them with pain or sacrifice because animals do feel pain and suffering the same way as us. Therefore, I wish to generate alternative experimental models to significantly reduce animal use for research purposes.
