Nicola Contessi Negrini

Nicola received his PhD in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano focusing on biomaterials, biofabrication, and tissue engineering. He completed a postdoc at Politecnico di Milano and joined Imperial College London to develop biomimetic biomaterials to regenerate soft human tissues. Nicola’s research focuses on engineering non-animal models of human physiological and pathological tissues to deliver innovative non-animal platforms for basic research and drug discovery.”
